natural arrangements

All through the months, flowers bloom in profusion on both sides of the road leading to Frogglerocks.  They have adorned my living room  suggesting the time of the year!

My favorite time is between the months of December to May.  The colors vary from intense to mute. I love golden showers although climbing the tree to get a twig or two is tantamount to being swarmed by ants!

Wild fruits are interesting centerpieces.  It was a focal of interest for little Jose who would pop whatever his tiny hands could grasp. I found this tree on top of a small hill.

I took pictures of my flower centerpieces to paint them later and only to realize that I have made quite a collection of these very interesting arrangements.

An engaging path

I am fortunate to work very close to my home.  It is  a steep walk of 8-10 minutes punctuated by a couple of bends. Any beginner will find the walk quite forever until one begins to engage himself in the quiet distraction offered by the trees and wild birds along the path.  Putting yourself in complete abandon to this beautiful road will definitely lead you to enchanting discoveries. It is enthralling to note that it even evokes different emotions depending on the time of the day, or the season of the year.  Wild trees would surprise you with flowers you will not even notice if you are too engrossed in your own thoughts.  There is one tree whose blooms would last only for a day.  I could not resist to cut a few twigs that hung near the road.  It made a lovely centerpiece indeed!
