Healing hands are warm like a freshly ironed shirt. It seems that these hands were prayers themselves in bones and flesh of every finger and the soft cushioned palms. They are never sweaty. I believe that their movements are controlled by the spirit.
There are hands that make things. There are hands that grow things. There are hands that break the spirit and there are hands that bless.
Prayerful hands are quiet hands. Slow to react to anger and will never hurt anyone. They may be soft and can also be bony with long slender fingers. They seem to have a mind of their own. These hands are also compassionate hands.
